Patrycja Podkościelny is a graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, where she currently co-runs the Second Studio of Fundamentals of Artistic Printmaking (Lithography and Serigraphy). Her practice focuses on both design and artistic printmaking, with a strong emphasis on traditional techniques. She is the winner of the Graduation Projects 2014 competition (an international review of the best design diplomas) for the book Demons of the Slavs. She has also received awards from the international Communication Arts Illustration Competition for the poster for the film Persona (2018) and for the book covers of Dumanowski (2019) and Fuga (2020). She has been a speaker at events such as Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity (UK), Element Talks (PL), GrafConf (PL), and Gdynia Design Days (PL).
Her clients and collaborators include Rolling Stone, Dark Horse Comics, The Washington Post, Adobe, Nike, Netflix, Levi’s, WeTransfer, Huffington Post, and Newsweek. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Sweden, Japan, Australia, and China.
